Gilbert-Summit Rural Water District is seeking a motivated fulltime water distribution operator. This position involves the operation and maintenance of the water distribution system with limited water treatment operations. 

Minimum Qualifications: HS diploma or GED, ability to obtain SCDHEC Class C distribution license and SCDHEC Class C water treatment license, valid SC driver’s license, mechanical ability, ability to lift 50 lbs, extended walking or standing, availability for after hours call-out on a rotational basis. Preference may be given to applicants holding a SCDHEC Class C Water Distribution/Water Treatment Operators License and or years of experience in the field.

Salary range: $39,520 - $65,000 depending on years of experience and level of licensing.
